3 years married!
Het is alweer 3 jaar geleden dat we elkaar in Nieuw-Zeeland het ja-woord gaven.

Het was een moeilijk keuze over welke passie ik ging scrappen. Mijn grootste passie is eigenlijk reizen, en dit combineren met mijn 2de passie, namelijk fotografie. En daarna komt een andere passie, namelijk scrapbooken. Maar ik heb ook een passie voor dieren; katten maar ook schapen. En is een lammetje niet ontzettend liefdevol? Het thema voor deze scraplayout!

It was difficult to select the passion I would make a scraplayout of. My biggest passion is traveling the world, and I try to combine this with my second passion, photography. And this results in a third passion, namely scrapbooking. Next to these 3 passions, I also love animals, especially cats and sheep. When I see a cute lamb, I always fall in love with it! So this is the theme for my scrapbook layout!

Zowel de challenge van Dutch Dares als Another Freaking Scrappy Challenge bestond uit het maken van een layout rond voornemens voor 2013. Zoals sommigen wel weten ben ik eind vorig jaar samen met mijn ventje betrokken geweest in een verkeersongeval. Onze auto is een wrak, maar gelukkig hebben mijn ventje en ik het zonder ernstige verwondingen overleefd. Daarom vind ik het belangrijk te genieten van het leven, genieten van de kleine dingen en geen energie te stoppen in het “wat als” denken maar energie te stoppen in zaken waar je controle over hebt. Dit is iets wat ik vorig jaar al meer heb proberen te doen. Genieten van het leven, want het kan zo snel voorbij zijn.
As well as the challenge of Dutch Dares as the Another Freaking Scrappy Challenge were about New Year’s resolutions. As some of you might know, my hubby and I were involved in a car crash around the Christmas period. Our car is a total loss, but the most important thing is that both my hubby and I survived the accident without serious incidents. That’s why it is important to enjoy life, to enjoy the little things around you, and don’t waste your enery in “what if” thinking, but focus on things you can control. It’s something I already tried to do last year, and I want to continue to do for this year. Enjoy life, as it can be over in a blink of an eye.

Dog goes babushka
Deze layout is een uitwerking van een schets die te vinden is op de blog van another freaking scrappy challenge. Na een winterse wandeling hadden we onze hond Izzie gewikkeld in een dekentje waardoor ze eruit zag als een oud vrouwtje of babushka!
This scrapbook layout is based on the sketch found on the blog of another freaking scrappy challenge. After a walk in the snow we wrapped our dog Izzie in a blanket after which she looked like an old lady or babushka!
